We are part of the surgical clinic at Sunderby Hospital – a dynamic unit with three wards, two clinics, and day activities. Ward 53 is growing steadily and is staffed with its own personnel; the goal is continued growth and development. We are looking for

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse and wish to work night shifts. You will join a stable work group with experienced night staff. Experience in surgical nursing or emergency care is advantageous, and although we would appreciate having a few years of experience, we also encourage those who are new to the profession to apply.

We place great emphasis on personal qualities. You are independent and proactive, while maintaining calmness and stability in stressful situations. Your problem-solving skills help you handle challenges in a constructive way.

What you will work with

As a nurse with us, you are responsible for the care of patients. You will meet and handle acutely ill patients and perform medical and care-related interventions. The work also involves handling and monitoring advanced medical technology equipment.

You will work in a multidisciplinary team where collaboration with doctors, assistant nurses, physiotherapists, and other professions is a central part of the job.

Together we create safe, person-centered, and evidence-based care. In your role, you will have the opportunity to develop in an stimulating environment where the variation in patient flow ensures that no two days are alike.

We place great emphasis on working environment efforts, and as part of this, we have decided to introduce scheduled competence development with a program for each scheduling period.

Information about the position

We offer a permanent full-time position with start date by agreement. Working hours are scheduled for nights, and weekend duty is included.

Selection and interviews take place continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
