The Unit's Mission
The Support and Monitoring unit is tasked with monitoring our systems in real-time. By working proactively, we contribute to stable and secure IT operations. We work closely with the business operations and are involved in the development of both working methods and IT solutions. Together with other functions within the unit, we deliver proactive and business-oriented support to both the agency's employees and external users.
Our Servicedesk is located in two cities, Härnösand and Östersund, and consists of approximately 40 employees. We are responsible for technical support within the Swedish Public Employment Service's IT environment and serve as a crucial link between users and specialists in various IT areas.
Job Description
As an employee at our Servicedesk, your main responsibility is to support our users by receiving fault reports via phone, email, and web forms. This also includes handling orders and inquiries to some extent, as well as providing support and guidance. Here you will work in both first and second-line support.
You handle calls via our contact management platform and document and manage all cases in ServiceNow. You work closely with your colleagues, primarily within your work group, but may also need to collaborate with others within our unit and the rest of the agency.
Our working hours are Monday–Friday, 07:48–16:30. Your work schedule is set by our Staffing Coordination team, which is also responsible for the daily traffic management of incoming cases.

We are looking for one to two employees for permanent full-time positions, which may start with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement. The primary location is Härnösand, but placement in Östersund is also possible.

Basic Requirements for the Position
- Completed upper secondary education or equivalent work experience assessed by the employer as equivalent.
- Experience in handling calls as first-line support (incoming telephony).
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Other Merits for the Position
- Experience working with case management systems, e.g., ServiceNow.
- Experience working in technical support.
