At Dörrteknikern, we work with the installation, service, and maintenance of door automation and associated security solutions. We are experiencing strong demand for our services and are now looking for a reliable and independent service technician who can step straight into the role and strengthen our team in Skåne.

About the role

As an experienced service technician with us, you will have a central and responsible role. You work independently on everything from complex new installations and commissioning to advanced troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

You start directly from home with your own fully equipped service van. The main work area is Skåne, but since we solve our customers' needs where they are, some travel is involved.

Your main responsibilities:

• Installation, programming, and commissioning of all types of door automation and control systems.
• Advanced troubleshooting, repair, and preventive service.
• Functional and safety inspections according to current regulations and standards (e.g., SS-EN 16005).
• Technical advice and close dialogue with customers, property owners, and contractors on-site.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who already have solid practical experience with door automation and know the industry well. You are used to working independently in the field, take great personal responsibility for your work, and solve problems efficiently when they arise. Since you are our representative out at the customers, you are professional, service-oriented, and have an easy time building trust and good relationships.

Requirements for the position:

• Several years of documented experience as a service technician within door automation.
• Good knowledge of current safety standards for automated doors (SS-EN 16005).
• Basic electrical education or equivalent solid technical practical competence (electricity, control/regulation, or access/locks).
• Category B driver's license (required).
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing, as well as good knowledge of English.
• Residing in Skåne.

Merits:

• Electrical certification (not required).
• Experience with lock, access, or alarm systems.
