Responsibilities
The role of Information and Archive Coordinator entails strategic and operational overall responsibility for the company's information management, document handling, archives, and information security. The area of responsibility includes coordinating, developing, and quality-assuring work to create secure, structured, and legally compliant information management that contributes to quality, efficiency, and value in operations.
The assignment is both strategic and operational and involves close collaboration with managers, operations, and various support functions throughout the company. The role includes being a key person in building, further developing, and managing the company's Information Security Management System (ISMS), based on established standards such as ISO 27001. Long-term and systematic improvement work is driven where information security is an integrated part of the operations.
Furthermore, the role includes responsibility for coordinating and developing the company's information and archive management and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation regarding information management, archives, and data protection. The assignment also includes ensuring that documents are cared for, kept organized, accessible, and released in accordance with current regulations. Support is provided to operations in the establishment and revision of information management plans and archive descriptions, as well as in advising on document management, information security, public access, confidentiality, and GDPR.
Work is carried out in close collaboration with managers, operations, and support functions and includes participation in development and digitalization initiatives. Environmental scanning in the area is an important part and is translated into practical value for the operations.
The role is varied and autonomous and requires good structure, flexibility, and the ability to take initiative. Through the assignment, information security is integrated as a natural part of requirement setting, development, and management of digital services and systems.
Qualifications
The position requires an academic education in fields such as archival science, information management, political science, or law, or equivalent competence acquired in other ways.
Experience in working with digital information management and information security issues is desirable, as is a good understanding of relevant legislation in the area. The role requires analytical skills and the capacity to structure and quality-assure information in a systematic and meticulous manner. The ability to work independently and drive processes forward in a responsible and effective manner is a prerequisite.
An interest and drive to develop working methods within information security, archives, and personal data management is central. Good communicative and pedagogical skills, along with a natural aptitude for building trust and creating good relationships within the organization, are highly valued.
It is meritorious to have experience from municipal operations or municipal companies, as well as collaboration with municipal administrations, city archives, or central support functions. Experience in building, introducing, or further developing information security management systems, preferably in accordance with ISO 27001 or similar standards, is seen as an advantage.
Further meritorious qualifications include knowledge of system administration from an information and archive perspective, as well as experience participating in digitalization or business development projects.
