About the Position

The Staffing Unit supports the municipality's operations with substitutes. As an employee at the Staffing Unit, you have the opportunity to influence when you want to work. You are responsible for entering your availability into our booking system, and we book you via SMS. The exact times you are to work will vary and are often determined with short notice.

Responsibilities

As a cook/kitchen assistant, you are part of a team that collaborates and helps each other with the tasks found in a kitchen.

As a cook, the responsibilities include planning and cooking from scratch.

As a kitchen assistant, duties include preparing salad buffets, baking, serving, dishwashing, and cleaning. You should also be able to handle simple cooking tasks.

We also staff reception kitchens at preschools, where you receive food, check temperatures, serve, wash dishes, and clean up.

Qualifications

• We are primarily looking for you who are trained as a cook or kitchen assistant.
• We place great emphasis on work experience from a kitchen.
• As a person, you should be easy to work with and contribute to a pleasant work climate and an efficient work group.
• You need to be service-oriented and have a positive attitude.
• You must be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.

For work in a kitchen at a preschool/school, you are required to present an extract from the police criminal record.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.

Duration: Start date 2026-09-14. Recruitment is ongoing based on operational needs, and positions can be filled from August 10th onwards.

The position is vacant subject to no surplus, need for reassignment, or priority existing within the municipality. Probationary employment may be applied.
