About Breared
We are a residential care facility located in Breared, a quiet residential area on the outskirts of Varberg, near Apelviken. Vardaga has operated Breared on contract for the Municipality of Varberg since 2008. The facility has 92 places with a focus on dementia and somatic care. Our agreement with the Municipality of Varberg runs until September 30, 2032. Follow us on Instagram @vardagavarberg
We are a dementia-certified facility, which means everyone who works here is trained in dementia care and interaction through Vardaga’s Dementia Academy.
We use needs-based flexible scheduling. This means you as an employee have the opportunity to influence your own working hours based on needs and preferences. We schedule 10 weeks at a time.
You have a team leader who spends most of their time working closely with you in the daily operations. Becoming a team leader can also be a career opportunity for you as a nursing assistant.
As a nursing assistant, you are incredibly important!
Your task is to provide quality of life. With your help, our residents can maintain their lifestyle and routines. You see each person individually and interpret what they need. At the same time, you will learn a great deal about care, aging, and how to interact with people.
”It’s primarily about meeting people, being able to adapt and read what people need. You’ll get wonderful colleagues and learn a lot about teamwork! There are often many fun activities and outings. It’s a job filled with laughter.” Jirapinya Muangsiri
You are closest to the resident and therefore play a key role in the team alongside nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. You also participate in care planning and write social documentation.
With your heart in the right place
Here you will work in a strong culture driven by our vision: We make the world a little better, one person at a time. It is extremely important that you share our vision and our four core values:
Respect: Here, everyone has the right to a dignified life with physical, mental, and social well-being.
Responsibility: We have employees who dare and want to contribute, and managers who listen and lead.
Simplicity: It is easy to make an impact and be part of the team or our customer group here.
Knowledge: We reflect, learn from each other, and value everyone’s competence.
Together we continuously work to ensure that our values permeate our interactions, both with each other and with all who live here.
”Here we have clear and meaningful values and goals that have guided me throughout my journey to perform my work in the best possible way.” Raquel Castaneda
Your experience and knowledge
We prefer that you are a trained nursing assistant with a few years of experience in eldercare. Computer proficiency and documentation experience are also meritorious. Good command of Swedish, both spoken and written, is required, but otherwise your CV is not the most important factor. If you share our values and have the right qualities, we will provide you with support and opportunities to grow.
We believe that you:
- are drawn to varied work and enjoy meeting people in different situations.
- are a creative person who dares to think independently and take responsibility.
- thrive in team environments and enjoy supporting your colleagues.
