The main production of district heating and electricity takes place at the Korsta plant. At Blåberget, we handle waste for material and energy recovery as well as landfilling. How you contribute in the role of Operations Technician

We are looking for you who, together with motivated and competent colleagues, want to work in a climate-smart way and contribute to the development of the Sundsvall region. You will work with the operation of the company's external facilities.

As a substitute Operations Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Operation of Sundsvall Energi's external production facilities for district heating.
  • Monitoring and rectifying operational disturbances on heat and hot water boilers with associated installations.
  • Performing certain preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Supervision of water and flue gas cleaning plants.
  • Ensuring that operational conditions are met in terms of environment and quality.

The position of Operations Technician reports directly to Group Manager Operations 1.

Your skills and experience

You have post-secondary education as an operations technician or alternatively several years of professional experience working in operations and energy facilities.

As a person, you have good collaboration skills, are self-motivated and responsible, business-minded and communicative, solution-focused, and meticulous. You can formulate yourself well in speech and writing in both Swedish and English. A Class B driver's license is required.

About the recruitment process

We work for a drug-free workplace, which is why drug testing is mandatory upon new hires. The position is a temporary assignment until 2027-09-30. Start date by agreement.

Salary: Monthly salary. Individual and differentiated salary setting is applied.

Terms: Salary benefits beyond the monthly salary follow the applicable collective agreement.

Benefits: Our benefits include a wellness allowance of 3,500 SEK/year for employment longer than 6 months, working time reduction according to the collective agreement, 63 hours + 9 hours (allocated to pension), which are selectable in free time, money, or allocation to pension (issued in parity with how long you work during the year and for an employment period of more than 3 months), one wellness hour per week, and occupational health care.
