The Regulatory Affairs Unit within the Health and Care Administration is now recruiting a Benefit Case Worker for our teams handling cases for the municipality's elderly citizens in accordance with the Social Services Act. You will work with cases concerning home care services and various forms of housing.

The Regulatory Affairs Unit is a developing unit with a strong ambition and desire to improve our working methods and routines. Your new workplace is located in the Health and Care Administration's newly renovated premises at Sollidenvägen 64B, where we work in a dedicated confidentiality zone with an activity-based working approach. The office contributes to the possibility of a social work environment. There is an option to sit privately when working on tasks such as phone calls. Remote work is possible for up to two full days per week. We have annual working hours, and the working times are office hours, Monday to Friday. The position is full-time with a planned start in the autumn or as agreed.

Organization

The Regulatory Affairs Unit is responsible for the exercise of authority within social services regarding interventions for the elderly and persons with disabilities. The unit consists of benefit case workers, LSS case workers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, administrators, business developers, and managers. The unit's case workers are divided into three different teams. Two teams work with the target group of the elderly, and one team works with LSS and social psychiatry.

The work includes travel with our electric cars within the municipality, so you need to have a B driver's license.

Your responsibilities

Our area of work and main responsibilities are to:

  • Investigate, assess, and make decisions according to the Social Services Act regarding home care and other interventions, primarily directed towards our elderly citizens.
  • Be a supportive function for those we serve and for their relatives.
  • Provide service and information.
  • Maintain contact and collaborate with all providers of the Health and Care Board.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Degree from the Social Work program or the Social Care program
  • B driver's license

You are good at structuring your work and have clear communication in both speech and writing. In meetings with other people, you speak clearly and well-formulated and listen to what others have to say in an empathetic way. It is a prerequisite that you have an interest, a will, and a drive to help other people. You are good at collaborating with others in an attentive and smooth manner, and you have an easy time creating new contacts and maintaining relationships.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability. A probationary period may be applied depending on your previous experience.
