About the Workplace
The Individual and Family Care department consists of five different units: Child and Family, Adult Services, Social Care and LSS (Support and Service for Persons with Certain Disabilities), Outpatient Care, and the Family Centre. The office is located in central Bräcke, just a few minutes' walk from train and bus connections. We offer flexible working arrangements and the possibility to work from home when the role permits and by agreement with your manager.

Responsibilities
Do you want to work in a unit characterized by job satisfaction, a good balance between work and leisure, broad expertise, and a strong culture of mutual support? Then apply to our Child and Family unit! We are responsible for investigating children's need for protection and support according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Care of Young Persons Act (LVU), granting interventions based on delegation, and following up on approved measures. The team consists of six social secretaries and a senior social secretary who also serves as team leader.
As a social secretary within Child and Family, you will guide citizens with a focus on early support. You must be able to balance official authority-building with relationship-building, reaching further by engaging people in their own change process. You believe in people's willingness and capacity to take the step toward a better situation themselves. You look at the bigger picture and approach your work with the mindset of creating conditions for positive change.
Qualifications & Requirements
To work with us, you must hold a degree in Social Work and have a valid driver's license (category B). Experience with official decision-making under the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Care of Young Persons Act (LVU) is preferred.
We are looking for someone who is eager to actively develop our working methods and practices together with the team leader and colleagues, including adapting to the new Social Services Act. You easily adapt your approach depending on the case type. Furthermore, you have strong collaboration skills, value building good relationships, and are humble and empathetic toward others' life situations. You work independently in your caseloads and take responsibility for the official decisions you make.
Personal suitability will be given great weight.
A certificate of conduct (background check) will be required prior to employment.
