Within the Sector Work & Support, we work to create the best conditions for children, young people, and adults in Ljusdal Municipality. Here you are offered future-oriented professions where you get the opportunity to be challenged and developed – and where you contribute daily to something that really matters. Together we create a safer society.
The Social Services in Ljusdal are now making a push to become an even more attractive employer with a good working environment and close management.
Responsibilities
We are now looking for a social secretary with a workplace at the Authority for Children and Young People, located in Line Two in our Sector Work and Support.
The position involves investigating children's needs for protection and support according to the Social Services Act and the Young Persons Act (LVU). The work includes making decisions about and following up on measures, as well as collaborating with other actors such as schools, preschools, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP), and the police. The child's best interests must be decisive in all care and treatment measures.
We work according to BBIC and Signs of Safety. We use the business system Treserva and the case management system Ciceron.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a degree in social work or another higher education that the employer considers equivalent. You need to have a good ability to structure your work, document correctly, and communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing. The work requires that you can be flexible, handle rapid changes, and make decisions with confidence. Experience of BBIC, LVU, and Signs of Safety is meritorious, as is experience communicating with interpreters.
You are confident in yourself, empathetic, and have a professional attitude when meeting people in difficult life situations. You have good problem-solving skills and work independently, but also see the strength in good collaboration and want to contribute to a positive work environment where we support each other and share knowledge. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability in this process.
A certificate of good conduct (extract from the police register) is required for this work.
You also need to have a B driver's license.
Other
At our Individual and Family Care (IFO), we work with a 7-hour workday and maintained full-time salary – an initiative for increased night rest and reduced stress. We also offer a wellness allowance of 3,000 SEK/year, the opportunity to exchange holiday allowance for extra days off, and external supervision as a natural part of our working environment efforts.
Do you want to help build the future social services in Ljusdal Municipality – where we put the participation of children and families at the center and work preventively with quality and engagement? Then we hope you apply for the position with us.
