Do you want to work with safety in a real sense – where your work makes a difference every day? We are looking for you who want to develop and strengthen our systematic fire protection and facility safety work within our district heating, district cooling, and electricity production operations.

📌 About the role

As a Fire Safety Coordinator, you play a vital role in creating a safe and secure working environment. You drive and develop our systematic fire protection work (SBA) in close collaboration with colleagues throughout the organization.

The role is both practical and strategic – you work with everything from inspections and tests to training and development of working methods.

Example of tasks

• Plan, execute, and follow up on fire safety inspections
• Test and maintain fire protection systems, such as fire alarms and extinguishing systems
• Work with risk assessments and the development of SBA
• Conduct training and exercises within fire safety
• Document and ensure compliance with legal and insurance requirements
• Act as a support to the operations in fire safety matters

have an interest in safety issues and want to contribute to a safe and sustainable operation. You thrive when taking responsibility for your area while collaborating with colleagues and sharing knowledge within the organization.

You have education in fire protection, such as fire protection technology, fire safety, or equivalent, as well as experience with systematic fire protection work (SBA). We would appreciate it if you had a few years of experience in similar tasks. Perhaps you currently have a part-time firefighter position? We believe this is good experience and can be combined with standby service.

It is meritorious if you have worked with fire alarm and extinguishing systems or have experience from industrial operations or rescue services. Since we have operations in several locations in the municipality, you must have a B-driver's license.

As a person, you are structured and meticulous with a strong focus on quality and safety. You take initiative, drive your work forward, and at the same time have good pedagogical skills – you enjoy creating understanding and engagement regarding fire safety issues among others.
