About the role
Skruf Snus is growing and is now recruiting for a new role as OHSE Specialist (Occupational Health, Safety & Environment), where you will play a central role in ensuring a continued safe, secure, and sustainable working environment for the employees at the Skruf Snus factory in Sävsjö. The workplace maintains high quality and safety standards today, and as a specialist in occupational health and safety, you will continue to develop work within this area.

In this role, you will serve as an important advisor in the organization to further develop safety and regulatory compliance in the operations. You will work closely with production, support functions, and management, driving improvement initiatives within occupational health and safety, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements and ISO standards. As an OHSE Specialist, you will also work with documentation and further develop the quality management system.

Examples of tasks:

• Ensure compliance with OHSE legislation and internal guidelines
• Develop risk assessments and safety procedures
• Drive improvement work, incident management, and preventive measures
• Work with documentation, safety inspections, and internal audits
• Further develop the quality management system
• Conduct training and act as an advisor within occupational health and safety, as well as liaise with authorities

Your profile
We are looking for you who have experience working within occupational health, safety, and quality management systems, and who thrive in a role where you can combine structure, analysis, and improvement work. As a person, you are communicative, driven, and confident in your competence, with the ability to collaborate across different departments.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience within occupational health and safety
• Relevant education or valid certification within OHSE
• Experience working with quality management systems
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 and Swedish occupational health and safety legislation
• Experience with risk assessment and improvement work
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience from an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 9001
• Experience with chemical handling
