Would you like to become part of our inspection team in Jönköping?

Our team in Jönköping is looking for a new colleague to join our lifting inspection group! Here, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting assignments focusing on the inspection of lifting equipment such as cranes, hoists, elevators, excavators, and more. Perhaps you already have experience with inspections, or you are ready to take the step towards a new, exciting career as an Inspection Engineer. Your work is important: you contribute to creating a safer everyday life for our customers, while independently planning and taking responsibility for your own work.

As an Inspection Engineer with us, you will use your technical interest while meeting people and building relationships. You plan your work independently, work in the field, and ensure that your inspections are documented in a clear and structured manner. We believe you are someone who sees challenges as a chance to develop and grow – both in your professional role and as an individual. To ensure you feel secure and have a good start, we offer ongoing training during your first period at Kiwa. This way, you can continuously build on your knowledge and continue to develop together with us.

We have customers in most industries, ranging from heavy industry to hospitals, shopping centers, and the aviation industry. This gives you the opportunity to inspect various types of lifting equipment:

• Cranes and hoists
• Elevators and escalators
• Gates
• Excavators, wheel loaders, and construction machinery
• Wind turbines
• Ski lifts

You are based from home with the place of employment in Jönköping. The role involves daily travel, and overnight trips may also occur.

Do you have what it takes?

To thrive in this role, we see that you have a technical interest, preferably with experience or education in a relevant field. We believe you enjoy social work where you meet customers daily and work independently. To succeed as an Inspection Engineer, you are responsive, curious, driven, and meticulous. We believe that with interest and basic knowledge, you will go far; therefore, we place great emphasis on your personality. During your first period with us, you will undergo training in other locations to gain the knowledge you need to perform your duties in the best possible way.

We look for you to have:

• Technical upper secondary education or equivalent, e.g., vocational training
• Ability to take on new challenges and work solution-oriented
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Category B driver's license

It is meritorious if you have experience from the inspection industry or have worked with cranes, construction machinery, mobile work platforms, elevators, wind turbines, or similar.
