Retail Assistant and Barista at Kahls in Farsta Centrum

At our store, guests are greeted by the scent of freshly ground coffee, a wide selection of teas, and luxurious confectionery. We always prioritize quality and the personal customer experience.

About the position

• Hours: As needed, approx. 20 hours/week
• Working hours: Primarily weekday evenings and 1 morning/week
• Location: Kahls The & Kaffehandel, Farsta Centrum.

Your responsibilities

Since you usually work alone, you take great personal responsibility for the store and its daily operations.

Your main tasks include:

• Providing first-class service and guiding customers through our wide range of coffee, tea, and chocolate.
• Handling the cash register and payments quickly and smoothly.
• Unpacking goods and stocking the store shelves.
• Creating creative and inviting gift arrangements.
• Preparing and serving espresso, coffee, and tea in-store and for takeaway.
• Keeping the store clean and tidy so that it always feels welcoming.

We are looking for you who:

• Are at least 18 years old (a requirement as the position involves working alone).
• Have a strong interest in coffee, tea, chocolate, and licorice.
• Are responsible, self-motivated, and proactive in identifying what needs to be done.
• Spread joy, warmth, and engagement in every customer interaction.
• Communicate in an open, genuine, and welcoming manner.

Experience with cash registers or working behind an espresso machine is a plus. However, we place the absolute greatest emphasis on your personality and your sense of service.
