Are you a structured and independent economic administrator who thrives on varied tasks and diverse contact points? We are now looking for an Economic Administrator for a part-time position at 50% with our client. The assignment starts in mid-August and lasts for six months.
About the roleAs an Economic Administrator, you will join the Finance and HR department, which currently consists of 21 employees and needs strengthening with a new team member! We are looking for someone who wants to work with ongoing, qualified administration of research projects, such as preparing budgets, monitoring during the project period, and final reporting, as well as administration within the financial area close to operations.
Main responsibilitiesIn this role, you will among other things:
- Work with budgets, forecasts, and financial monitoring
- Manage the finances of research projects, from budgets and calculations in the application phase to interim reports and final accounting
- Be responsible for financial administration and ensure that accounting and financial processes function within your area of responsibility
- Act as a financial support to operations and provide advice on financial matters
- Collaborate with the organization's central finance and HR functions as well as other administrative functions
We are looking for someone who has:
- Post-secondary education in economics
- A few years of experience in qualified financial work or a similar administrative role
- Experience with budgeting, financial monitoring, and forecasting
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office
It is an advantage if you have:
- Experience in financial work within government operations
- Experience with the systems Primula, Proceedo, and ERP (formerly UBW)

You enjoy working independently while also having an easy time collaborating and building good relationships with colleagues and other contact points. You are solution-oriented and analytical, appreciate handling complex issues, and have the ability to plan, prioritize, and drive your work forward. Furthermore, you communicate clearly and pedagogically and contribute with a non-hierarchical and service-oriented approach.
