Villa Orrholmen is now looking for a Nursing Assistant for our somatic department. We operate in new, fresh premises and have a wonderful team ready to welcome new colleagues. About Villa Orrholmen

The facility is located near Karlstad city center and is surrounded by Lake Vänern. We have a total of 60 apartments spread over three floors. Two floors have a total of 40 places for residents with dementia, and one floor has 20 places with a focus on somatic care. We are currently looking for a Nursing Assistant for our somatic department.

• We are a dementia-certified facility, which means that everyone working here is trained in dementia and interaction through Vardaga's Dementia Academy.

• We apply a needs-based preference schedule. This means that as an employee, you have the opportunity to influence your own working hours based on needs and preferences. We schedule five weeks at a time.

• We have a collaboration with the company Ung Omsorg. This means that a team of young people aged 14–18 visits us on weekends and holidays.

As a Nursing Assistant, you are extremely important!

Your task is to provide quality of life. With your help, our residents can maintain their lifestyle and habits. You see every person and interpret what they need. At the same time, you learn a lot about care, aging, and how to interact with people.

You are closest to the resident and thus have a key role in the team with the nurse, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist. You also participate in health and care meetings as well as team meetings and write social documentation.

Your experience and knowledge

We would like you to be a trained Nursing Assistant and have worked a few years in elder care. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are also meritorious. Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is a requirement, but otherwise, your CV is not the most important thing. If you share our values and have the right qualities, we will give you support and the opportunity to grow.
