Are you passionate about creating good conditions for people and organizations to develop? At SBU, you will work broadly within the HR field, close to operations, with an important societal mission. We are now looking for an engaged HR Generalist who wants to drive and develop HR work.
The Department
The position is located in the Department for Business Development and Support. The department consists of 14 people with roles in HR, IT, finance, legal, business development, registry, and internal services. The department's tasks are to provide support to the rest of the organization and to develop processes and working methods. The work is led by a Department Manager. You will be part of an HR team of three people who work closely together in their daily work. Each person drives their areas of responsibility independently while we work closely together and jointly develop HR work and support for operations. The work is characterized by engagement, development, and a shared desire to contribute to the agency's continued development and a good work environment.
Job Responsibilities
As an HR Generalist at SBU, you will have an important role in supporting and developing the organization by working broadly within the HR field. You will lead the agency's recruitment process, work with the agency's competence development and personnel administration, and participate in HR procurement. You will collaborate closely within the HR function and with the agency's managers.
Responsibilities include among other things:
- Responsible for and carrying out the entire recruitment process, from needs analysis to employment administration
- Be primarily responsible for the development of the agency's strategic competence supply
- Responsible for the agency's on- and offboarding
- Participate in the agency's security committee and work environment issues within the agency
- Contribute to developing and implementing HR processes and policies
- Support managers in labor law matters
Qualifications
- University degree in HR, personnel science, or equivalent as assessed by the employer
- At least 3 years of experience in broad HR work
- Experience working with the entire competence supply process, especially within competence-based recruitment
- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing.
Merits
- Experience working in a government agency or public sector
- Work experience in work environment and work-oriented rehabilitation
- Good administrative skills and system familiarity with Reachmee, Talmundo, Primula, and SharePoint
- Work experience in procurement within the HR field

Extent and Start Date
This is a full-time (100%) temporary position for 16 months. The desired start for the position is during October 2026.
