About Us

We are currently looking for two midwives for the midwife clinics in Kungälv and Ale. The team in Kungälv consists of six midwives and one nursing assistant, while the team in Ale consists of four midwives and one nursing assistant. The Ale midwife clinic is part of the Family Center Älvbarnen.

The clinics are part of an area with midwife clinics in Gothenburg and its surrounding municipalities. The entire area is HBTQ certified, and we work according to ISO management and quality system 9001:2015.

About the Job

As a midwife, you work independently with reproductive and sexual health. Your duties include pregnancy monitoring, gynecological cell sample checks, contraceptive counseling, STI prevention work, and digital group parenting support. Additionally, you provide telephone counseling, digital healthcare meetings, and supervision of students.

We want to promote employee development and work according to career development models, where we map your competence in relation to the model and what could be the next step in terms of education, development, and tasks. You are involved in both your own and the clinic's development, and we value your initiative.

We offer all employees mentorship and place great importance on a good, individualized introduction. As a midwife with us, you get up to ten competence development days per year, including training days, planning days, and conferences. About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed midwife with prescribing rights. We consider it an advantage if you have experience from working at a midwife clinic.

As a person, you are independent, flexible, and have good collaboration skills. We appreciate that you have a professional attitude and a positive approach towards both patients and colleagues. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability for the position.

Conditions

You will serve at the clinic in Kungälv and/or in Ale as needed.

Selection will take place during week 33. Interviews are planned for August 17 and 18.

Salary: Monthly salary, individual salary setting.
