About the Role

As a kitchen assistant with us, you will play a central role in the kitchen. Your responsibilities include preparing and cooking cold dishes and lighter hot dishes such as salads, starters, sandwiches, and desserts. You will be responsible for ensuring the food maintains the highest quality and an appealing presentation. The work is done with fresh and seasonal ingredients, and you play a key role in ensuring good hygiene and order in the kitchen. Collaboration with other kitchen and serving staff is also an important part of the role, as well as being involved in creating and developing new creative dishes.

The position is 50% based on agreement.

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience as a kitchen assistant or equivalent training.
• Is meticulous, creative, and has an eye for detail.
• Has good knowledge of food hygiene and self-control.
• Can work efficiently at a high pace and is stress-resistant.
• Is a team player with excellent communication skills.
• Is flexible and can work during the day, evenings, and weekends.

Gålö Havsbad is a resort located 35 minutes south of Stockholm, situated in a beautiful nature reserve with hiking trails and a large beach nearby. Our guests come here to stay at our four-star camping site, in cottages and glamping tents – to hold conferences and kick-offs in one of our three conference rooms.

We are open from May to September. We have had the same owner since 2004 and, of course, operate under a collective agreement.
