Beirut Bistro is looking for a dishwasher

Beirut Bistro is looking for a careful, reliable, and hardworking dishwasher for our restaurant at Hornsbergs Strand.

As a dishwasher, you play a vital role in the restaurant's daily operations. You ensure that the kitchen, bar, and serving staff always have access to clean plates, glasses, cutlery, and utensils.

The work is sometimes fast-paced and requires you to work quickly while maintaining order, cleanliness, and a good workflow.

Responsibilities

You will primarily:

• wash plates, cutlery, glasses, and serving equipment
• wash kitchen tools, trays, and other kitchen equipment
• sort and handle dirty dishes efficiently
• ensure a steady flow of clean equipment
• keep the dishwashing room, dishwashers, and work surfaces clean
• clean floors and equipment after your shift
• handle waste and recycling according to the restaurant's routines
• inform the manager if equipment is not working or supplies are running low
• assist with basic cleaning and preparations when time allows

We are looking for someone who

• is careful and has a good sense of order
• works quickly without compromising on cleanliness and hygiene
• is enduring and enjoys physical work
• can maintain structure even when there is a lot to do
• is punctual, reliable, and responsible
• collaborates well with kitchen and serving staff
• can work evenings and weekends
• can communicate in Swedish or English

Previous experience with restaurant dishwashing, kitchen work, or janitorial services is an advantage, but not an absolute requirement. The right attitude, willingness to work, and reliability are most important.
