Beirut Bistro is hiring runners for the summer season

Do you want to gain experience in the restaurant industry and work in a social, fast-paced environment? Beirut Bistro is now looking for runners for our restaurant and outdoor terrace at Hornsbergs Strand.

As a runner, you are a vital part of the service team. You work closely with waiters, the kitchen, the bar, and the dishwashing area, helping to ensure that food is delivered quickly and accurately to our guests.

Previous restaurant experience is an asset, but not a requirement. The most important qualities are reliability, attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and a collaborative spirit.

Responsibilities

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Picking up finished dishes from the kitchen and delivering them to the correct tables
• Verifying table numbers, side orders, and allergy information
• Serving bread, water, meze dishes, and other accompaniments
• Collecting dirty dishes and sorting them for the dishwashing area
• Setting, clearing, and resetting tables
• Preparing cutlery, bread baskets, and service stations
• Assisting in the preparation of the restaurant and outdoor terrace
• Maintaining clean and organized work areas
• Supporting waiters and anticipating guest needs

We are looking for someone who

• Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Is quick, attentive, and detail-oriented
• Is punctual and takes responsibility for their shifts
• Can follow instructions while also taking initiative
• Enjoys teamwork and helping others
• Can handle physically demanding, fast-paced work
• Is available to work evenings and weekends during the summer
• Can communicate in Swedish or English

Previous experience in restaurants, cafes, retail, or other service industries is an asset, but not mandatory.

The work is physical and involves a lot of standing, walking, and some lifting. The position includes evening and weekend shifts.
