RESPONSIBILITIES

We aim to become a leading social services department as new legislation and restructuring come into effect in 2025.

The Individual and Family Support Unit, formerly Open Care, is led by a unit manager together with a coordinator. Our ambition is to be a social services department where we together create good conditions to meet future challenges.

Barnbacken Family Centre in Kramfors is a collaboration between Kramfors Municipality and Region Västernorrland and consists of the child health centre, midwife clinic, open preschool, psychologist, and social services. Together, the operations work to offer activities and interventions that are significant for the well-being of children and guardians.

In the role of social worker with us, you will represent social services together with our current social worker, and serve as a consultant to other staff on psychosocial matters. You and your colleague are a direct link to social services with the goal of being able to refer parents and children early and smoothly to various support and assistance measures.

As a social worker, you offer supportive and advisory conversations to parents based on individual needs. You will also participate in various preventive and promoting activities such as parent groups, outreach and searching activities, organizing theme days, and more. Your workplace is at Barnbacken Family Centre, but you belong to the Individual and Family Support Unit together with your colleague.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a social worker and have good knowledge of social services operations and relevant legislation. It is meritorious if you have experience working with advisory and support conversations, have knowledge of children's development and needs, as well as parents' need for support in the parenting role. We would also like you to have experience in authority operations and/or treatment activities.

You must have good ability to express yourself in speech and writing. We will place great emphasis on your personal suitability and personal qualities such as flexibility, cooperation, and initiative. A B-class driver's license is required.

Employment type: Permanent position.
