Our operations within the LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) unit consist of group homes, day activities, and personal assistance. We work to ensure good living conditions, participation, and meaningfulness, as well as to provide support and help to our users based on their individual needs and wishes. Our mission is to build good relationships with our users, colleagues, and other stakeholders. The staff in our operations have a strong interest and knowledge in the field of disability support and its development. We are proud of our operations and work with great commitment and responsibility. Currently, we are looking for two driven and responsible support assistants based at one of our two service apartments.

DUTIES:

We are looking for you who are a support assistant and want to work in our LSS housing. We are receiving several new users, and our work teams are growing. As a support assistant, you support the user in their own home. You accompany them on activities such as football, bowling, shopping, and walks, and support the user with their routines and daily tasks. We strive for an active leisure time for our users, which means you serve as a role model and have a desire and commitment to physical activities. What characterizes LSS operations is the need for good skills in building relationships with our users. Your interest in creating a fantastic everyday life for all our users makes you the right person for us. We work with a solution-focused approach and individualized pedagogy for the benefit of our users. You will become part of a team where your competence will be valuable in the ongoing change and development work within our operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Support Assistant Education or other education assessed by the employer as equivalent.
  • Good knowledge and experience within the LSS area, as well as competence in autism, developmental disabilities, and clarifying pedagogy. You see the support needs of each individual.
  • Genuine interest in LSS work and a strong passion for working with people with disabilities.
  • Experience and interest in working with welfare technology and digital aids.
  • As a person, you are secure, responsible, flexible, adaptable, driven, and efficient, and you enjoy being physically active.
  • You see opportunities instead of obstacles, collaborate easily, contribute to the development of the operation, and take great responsibility for your work.
  • You have the ability to prioritize, make correct assessments, and think outside the box.
  • You listen, communicate, and solve problems in a constructive way, which builds trust and cooperation.
  • You are secure in yourself, accustomed to quickly adapting to new circumstances, reflect on improvement measures, and are stress-resistant.
  • You have good physical fitness and can participate in leisure activities together with users.
  • You find it easy to collaborate and get to know new people.
  • A valid B-class driver's license is required.

EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS:

  • Permanent employment. A probationary period of 6 months may apply.
  • Start date: ASAP or as agreed.
  • Full-time position (100%).
  • The work is scheduled during days, evenings, sleeping nights, and every other weekend.
  • Individual and differentiated salary setting is applied.
  • Collective agreement: The Main Agreement of the agreement area, along with its General Provisions and appendices, applies.

OTHER:

Employment requires the presentation of an extract from the criminal record and suspicion register for persons who are to work with people with disabilities. We recommend ordering your extract via the Swedish Police Authority's e-service.
