Markverkstad Syd is a department within the Land Workshops Unit, which belongs to the Army Staff, with approximately 190 employees operating in Revingehed, Ronneby, Karlskrona, and Tofta. We perform maintenance on the Swedish Armed Forces' equipment across all branches of the military. This includes maintenance in the form of supervision, repairs, manufacturing, dismantling/scraping, modifications, operational support, technical adaptation, and equipment inspection. The Land Workshops Unit delivers services according to customer requirements.

Main Responsibilities

As a Technical Officer, you work with technical system support within all of the Swedish Armed Forces' equipment systems, technical investigations, construction, manufacturing, and modifications. The assignment includes both leading and participating in projects. The main area of responsibility will be the Pansarterrängbil 360 (PTB 360).

Examples of tasks that may also be included in the role as needed:

• Create prerequisites for the workshops in the form of documentation, technical orders, and instructions
• Travel within Sweden and abroad occurs
• Participate in and lead assignments within the Land Workshop organization as needed
• Participate in and lead technical analyses
• Train employees
• Bid calculation and consolidation for orders

Requirements

Qualifications

• You have at least a two- or three-year upper secondary education with a technical focus, or competence acquired through professional experience that the employer considers equivalent
• Computer literacy with knowledge of the MS Office package, primarily Word and Excel
• B driver's license
• Good skills in English, both spoken and written
• Fluent Swedish, both spoken and written
