Älvsbyn Municipality is seeking an engaged mother tongue teacher in Arabic who wants to inspire and support our students in their linguistic and personal development.

Job Responsibilities

As a mother tongue teacher in Arabic, you teach students in an age-mixed group. You plan, conduct, and follow up on teaching based on the students' needs and the goals outlined in the school's governing documents. In this role, you contribute to strengthening the students' language development, self-confidence, and cultural identity.

You collaborate with school staff as needed to create the best possible conditions for the students' learning and development.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has very good knowledge of both Arabic and Swedish.
• Has experience in teaching or other pedagogical work with children and young people.
• Is responsible, flexible, and has good collaboration skills.
• Can adapt teaching based on students' different ages, needs, and prior knowledge.

It is an advantage if you have a teaching certification or pedagogical education.

Employment Terms

• Hourly employment.
• Scope: approximately 3 hours per week.
• Teaching takes place on-site in Älvsbyn.
• Remote teaching is not possible for this position.
