We are looking for an experienced CNC technician with a focus on CAM preparation for an innovative production company in Nyköping. About the role

In this role, you are responsible for creating production documentation and CNC programs for the company's machine park, which includes two five-axis milling machines. The machines are used to mill everything from molds and fixtures to finished components. You plan and develop machining and fixturing methods, and participate in standardization and method development work to optimize production. You also work with costing and verification of manufacturing processes to ensure that capacity and quality are achieved.

An important part of the job is machining advanced composite materials, especially carbon fiber and glass fiber composites. You collaborate continuously with design, toolmakers, and production engineers to create efficient CNC programs and fixture solutions. The role is central to production and involves you largely driving the CAM preparation independently. In the long term, you may also support and train another person in the work.

We are looking for you who

We are looking for you who have documented experience of CNC milling and CAM preparation, preferably with experience of five-axis machining. You have good knowledge of CAD/CAM systems and are accustomed to working with CNC control systems. Experience with SolidWorks and/or Mastercam is meritorious. You likely have a background in production technology or workshop work with a focus on machining, and a technical education as a CNC technician or engineer.

Experience in composite machining is meritorious, but not a requirement. It is also meritorious if you have worked with measuring technology, quality control, or digital measuring equipment to verify geometries on larger products.

You are a person who takes responsibility, works in a structured manner, and is meticulous in your work. Since the role involves a high degree of independence, you need to be able to take initiative, make decisions, and drive the work forward when problems arise. You are communicative and enjoy collaborating, but also have the ability to identify issues, ask the right questions, and raise improvement suggestions. We believe you have a genuine interest in technology and a positive attitude towards a daily routine where working methods and solutions are continuously developed. You need to be able to communicate fluently in Swedish or English, both orally and in writing.
