Your Role

In this role, you will work on repairs, modifications, component manufacturing, and maintenance of aircraft within the framework of our operational permits. When working on component manufacturing, you will use commonly available machinery. You will collaborate closely with engineers and technicians to find solutions for various types of modifications and installations.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with experience in sheet metal work, industry, or a similar field. As a person, you have the ability to take personal responsibility and initiative to ensure delivery to the customer.

We also believe that you are flexible and have a good ability to work both independently and in a team. The work requires you to be meticulous and have a developed awareness of quality and safety. Personal suitability is highly valued.

We also look for the following qualifications:

• Some form of mechanical/practical upper secondary or post-secondary education.
• A few years of experience in manufacturing industry.
• Experience in reading technical drawings.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).

A background as an aircraft mechanic with a focus on structures and sheet metal is considered an asset.

The position is located in Nyköping, and working hours are during the day. Work may occasionally take place in other locations in Sweden.

The position requires you to undergo and pass the security clearance process according to current regulations. For positions at Saab, requirements for security classification may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
