About X Shore and the role
X Shore is a Swedish company that develops and manufactures fully electric boats with a focus on innovation, sustainability, and quality. In the modern factory in Nyköping, the company works with advanced composite and carbon fiber production.
This assignment is part of our staffing services. You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant at X Shore for six months. The intention is that you may eventually be hired directly by X Shore, provided all parties are satisfied with the collaboration. Your responsibilities
- Create production documentation and CNC programs for our fleet of 2- to 5-axis milling machines. Here we mill everything from molds and fixtures to finished parts.
- Plan and develop machining and fixturing methods, and participate in continuous standardization and method development work to optimize production.
- Cost estimation and verification of manufacturing processes to ensure that capacity and quality are achieved.
- Responsible for machining advanced composite materials (primarily X Shore's carbon fiber and glass fiber composites).
- Collaborate with design, tooling operators, and production engineers to ensure efficient programs and fixture solutions.
We are looking for you who have:
- Good experience in production engineering or workshop work with a focus on machining.
- Documented experience in CNC milling and CAM programming with experience in 5-axis machining.
- Good knowledge of CAD/CAM systems (SolidWorks and/or Mastercam is a plus) and familiarity with CNC control systems.
- Experience with measurement technology and quality control.
- A genuine interest in technology, structured and meticulous with the ability to take initiative and solve problems. You are also communicative and enjoy working in a team.
- Fluent proficiency in Swedish or English, both spoken and written.
- Good computer skills.
Plus:
- Experience with SolidWorks and/or Mastercam.
- Experience machining composite materials (carbon fiber/glass fiber).

Start: As agreed, preferably as soon as possible
Scope: Full-time
Location: Nyköping
Working hours: Daytime initially. Shift work may become relevant in the future as production grows, so we would appreciate it if you are open to this in the long term.
