We are now looking for a Maintenance Technician for our operations in Borlänge

As a Maintenance Technician at Riksbyggen, you will be one of the employees working closest to the customer. The work is varied and social, and you will work independently with great freedom to solve the challenges you face in your job on your own.

At Riksbyggen, you make a difference

As a Maintenance Technician, you primarily work with technical maintenance issues and are responsible for the operation and maintenance of the technical systems in our buildings. You will work in both residential and commercial properties. Your tasks include routine repairs and inspections of the buildings' heating and ventilation systems, control and regulation technology, as well as other building-related technology. You are encouraged to come up with your own suggestions and ideas for measures. In the role of Maintenance Technician, there will be a strong focus on energy efficiency, and through your work, you will contribute to more sustainable buildings.

Examples of tasks:

• On-site supervision and maintenance of the building's technical systems
• Perform ventilation balancing in apartments
• Participate in and perform OVK (Air and Heat System Control)
• Perform service on heating, cooling, ventilation, as well as control and regulation systems
• Manage periodic service schedules
• Perform air and temperature measurements for our customers
• Troubleshoot heating, hot water, and ventilation problems for our customers
• Repair and maintenance measures in technical systems
• On-call duty may be required
• Daily communication with customers, operations, colleagues, and suppliers

You contribute with your competence and engagement

You have a high school education with a technical focus or relevant work experience. Broad property technical competence through several years of relevant work experience from heating and ventilation systems, control and regulation technology is a prerequisite for the job. It is an advantage if you are OVK-certified. Since the work involves a lot of customer contact, you understand the importance of being service-oriented and able to collaborate and work together with others. You can express yourself well in speech and writing. You are driven and goal-oriented, have a good ability to see and meet customer needs, both internal and external. Acting professionally and customer-oriented is crucial for this position. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

The position requires a B-driver's license. The location is Borlänge, but work in other locations in the market area may occur. Riksbyggen sees diversity as a strength and strives to create an inclusive work environment. Riksbyggen applies a probationary period.
