We are now looking for an additional nurse for our popular night team in home healthcare.

The home healthcare night team is based in Hudiksvall. We serve registered patients across the entire municipality and are actively on duty throughout the night. There are at least 2 nurses on duty every night. During the night hours, the home healthcare team is also responsible for all other elderly care and disability services.

As a new employee, you will be offered a individually tailored introduction and a mentor.

During the day, our team leader acts as a hub within home healthcare, with thorough knowledge of our routines and workflows.

Responsibilities

Work within home healthcare is varied and autonomous, characterized by trust and freedom under responsibility. Duties include independently assessing, planning, performing/delegating, leading, and documenting health and medical care interventions. The role also involves supervising, informing, and educating nursing staff.

The weekly working time for full-time night shifts is currently 34.20 hours, and we work with a fixed schedule that repeats every 12th week.

Your Profile

Patients connected to home healthcare are predominantly elderly and multi-morbid, as well as adults needing palliative care at home. We collaborate with both the Mobile Medical Team and the Palliative Team. Knowledge and experience with the above patient groups are meritorious.

A valid driver's license (Category B) is required.

You are a licensed nurse with a few years of experience, or a district nurse, or have other relevant further education as a nurse.

You have a professional attitude towards patients, relatives, and nursing staff, and you have the ability to put yourself in their perspective.

You value and treat your colleagues and the teams we collaborate with in a respectful manner.

You are confident in making independent decisions and prioritizations based on medical assessments, and you know when you need to consult a colleague or doctor.

You have experience and knowledge of working with digital tools and computer systems.
