On Medical Ward 5, we provide round-the-clock care for general medical patients, with specialized knowledge in nephrology and diabetes. Here, we work in a small and welcoming environment where we support each other to provide safe and high-quality care to the residents of southern Hälsingland.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We welcome you who have a high focus on quality and patient safety. As a nurse with us, you will work in a varied environment in close collaboration with other professions in the unit. We care for several different patient groups and diagnoses, giving you broad experience while contributing to ensuring that patient care and treatment maintain high quality with a focus on patient safety.

Main responsibilities:

• Be responsible for nursing care.
• Administer and dispense medication.
• Insert peripheral intravenous catheters (PIV), take blood samples, administer injections, and perform various examinations and treatments.
• Observe problems and changes in the patient's condition and act accordingly.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is confident in their role, finds it easy to collaborate, and shows care in meetings with both patients, colleagues, and other professions. You are engaged, take initiative, are flexible in your daily life, and can adapt when conditions change. With your sensitivity and positive attitude, you contribute to a good work climate and a secure experience for patients.

To succeed in the role, you need:

• Nursing license (sjuksköterskelegitimation).

For this position, experience with home dialysis (paddialysis) is meritorious.
