Job Description

Are you a technical problem solver with a strong background in operations, maintenance, and building technology? Do you also have experience with both building electronics and hydraulics? Then you might be the person we are looking for to take overall responsibility for our production facility in Färgelanda!

As a Maintenance Technician at Artifex, you have overall responsibility for our property management as well as operations and maintenance in our industrial and production environment. The role is both strategic and operational; you act as a project manager for modernizations and renovations while ensuring that ongoing technical operations run smoothly. You become the hub of our technical organization and serve as the main point of contact for external contractors, suppliers, and authorities. The position is located in Färgelanda. Working hours will not be scheduled for day shifts; you will be assigned to either a fixed night shift or weekend shift. Therefore, we require you to be fully flexible with your working hours and comfortable with shift work.

Responsibilities

• Operations & Maintenance: Plan, lead, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on the building's technical systems and production-proximate infrastructure during your current shift.
• Troubleshooting & Repair: Responsible for service and maintenance of building electronics as well as systems related to industrial hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Project Management & Operations: Drive, structure, and follow up on projects regarding renovations, machine investments, and energy efficiency improvements, while ensuring operations are secured while production is running.
• External Contacts: Coordinate and specify requirements for work performed by external contractors and service partners, and ensure that regulatory requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Professional Experience: You have relevant and documented experience in property management or technical maintenance in an industrial production environment.
• Technical Expertise: You should have previous experience with building electronics and have a good understanding of control and regulation technology. Experience in troubleshooting and maintaining hydraulic systems is required.
• Education: Technical education at the upper secondary or post-secondary level (preferably with an electrical engineering background).
• Personal Attributes & Working Hours: We are looking for a structured, independent, and proactive person. Since the role involves shift work – either night shifts or weekend shifts – it is required that you are flexible with your working hours and thrive under the conditions that inconvenient working hours entail.
