We are seeking an experienced and business-driven Senior Project Manager who wants to contribute to the development of Gothenburg's neighborhood squares and commercial properties, taking portfolio responsibility. In this role, you will have a key position leading strategically important projects that strengthen both our properties and the places where people meet every day.

The role offers a varied assignment with great opportunities to influence. You are responsible for projects from idea and planning to implementation and handover, becoming a crucial link between business, technology, and operations. Together with engaged colleagues, you contribute to creating attractive, sustainable, and safe urban environments for Gothenburg's residents. You work closely with commercial managers, technical managers, and center developers, with many contact surfaces both internally and externally.

Your Assignment

As a Senior Project Manager, you have overall responsibility for larger investment, development, and maintenance projects within the company's property portfolio. The role is both strategic and operational, involving leading complex projects through the entire process – from preliminary studies and needs analysis to completion and handover. You are responsible for ensuring projects are executed with the right quality, economy, and schedule while ensuring they contribute to the business's long-term goals and the development of our trading places and neighborhood squares.

Your main tasks include:

• Leading and driving property development projects, local adaptations, and investments from early stages to completion according to the established plan.
• Collaborating with commercial managers regarding space supply, tenant adaptations, and development projects that strengthen the attractiveness of properties and trading places.
• Planning and executing larger technical investments and maintenance projects together with technical managers.
• Being responsible for the project's economy, schedule, quality, risk management, and working environment.
• Procuring consultants and contractors according to LOU (Public Procurement Act) and ensuring compliance with contracting law regulations such as AB 04, ABT 06, and BAS-P/BAS-U.
• Leading project meetings and coordinating work between internal functions, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Driving projects that contribute to increased safety, sustainability, and development of our squares and neighborhoods.

Your Profile

You are an experienced project manager with good business understanding and a strong commitment to sustainable urban development. You are accustomed to driving complex projects with many stakeholders and thrive in a role where you combine strategic thinking with operational execution.

As a person, you are structured, communicative, and solution-oriented. You build trust in collaborations, have natural leadership qualities, and are skilled at building long-term relationships. You have the ability to weigh commercial, technical, and economic perspectives to make well-founded decisions.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant higher education or university degree in construction, property, urban planning, or equivalent competence assessed by the employer.
• At least 7–10 years of experience leading larger construction, investment, or property projects, preferably within commercial properties or public operations.
• Documented experience in managing project budgets, investment calculations, and economic follow-up.
• Good knowledge of contracting law, especially AB 04 and ABT 06.
• Experience with procurement according to LOU and leading consultants and contractors is meritorious.
• Good knowledge of working with project management models.
• Good understanding of the construction process and experience in project management from early stages to completion.
• Ability to contribute to developing the company's project methodology.
• Experience driving project measures that contribute to increased social sustainability and safety on our squares and in our areas.
• Class B driver's license (required to move between our 21 squares).
