Your next challenge

As a Senior IT Technician, you will play a central role in developing, maintaining, and future-proofing the mill's IT environment. The role is broad and combines technical specialist work with business development, project management, and strategic improvement work.

You act as technical support to the organization and play a key role in translating business needs into sustainable and long-term IT solutions. Together with colleagues in IT and OT, you work to create a secure, stable, and cost-effective IT environment that supports production and ongoing digitalization.

This is a role for you if you appreciate variety. One day you might work on complex problem-solving or developing technical solutions, and the next day you lead a project, plan future technology choices, or coordinate improvement initiatives together with the business.

In the role, you will among other things:

• develop, maintain, and improve the mill's IT environment
• ensure high operational reliability, availability, and lifecycle management of IT solutions
• drive improvement work within digitalization, technology, and working methods
• work with cybersecurity and ensure that IT and OT environments are developed according to Holmen's guidelines
• lead or participate in projects related to technical development and investments
• support the business in technical matters and act as a specialist in your area
• mentor and support colleagues and contribute to joint competence development
• collaborate with Holmen's other operations to develop joint working methods and technical solutions.

To succeed in the role

We are looking for someone who thrives in a broad technical role where you can combine specialist competence with collaboration and development. You have a structured approach to work, are curious about new technology, and enjoy turning ideas into practical solutions that create value for the business.

We see that you have:

• post-secondary education in IT or equivalent competence
• several years of experience in qualified IT work
• broad competence in IT environments, networks, servers, and technical platforms
• experience in developing, maintaining, and improving business-critical IT solutions
• good knowledge of Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.

It is meritorious if you also have experience of:

• process industry or other business-critical environments
• IT and OT environments
• cybersecurity and information security
• project management
• digitalization and change management.

As a person, you are self-motivated and take responsibility for driving your work forward. You have strong analytical skills, work in a structured manner, and are good at building trusting collaborations. You are happy to share your knowledge and see the value in developing together with others.
