About the role

We are currently looking for a Meeting and Event Coordinator on behalf of our client in Lund. In this role, you will play a central part in ensuring a professional and first-class service experience for visitors and customers. You will work in a service-oriented environment with many contact points, where service, structure, and quality are in focus.

As a Meeting and Event Coordinator, your main responsibilities will include:

• Coordination and administration of meetings, conferences, and events
• Contact with customers and visitors, ensuring a high level of service
• Planning, booking, and follow-up of activities
• Coordination between different functions to ensure smooth execution
• Handling ongoing administrative tasks related to the operations

The position of Meeting and Event Coordinator is a full-time temporary assignment starting in late August 2026. The assignment is expected to last approximately 1.5 years and is located in Lund.

About you

We are looking for someone with experience from service-oriented businesses, preferably within hotels, tourism, restaurants, or similar industries. You have a strong customer focus and thrive in a role where you get to meet people and create positive experiences through high service and professional interaction.

Furthermore, we see you as a positive, responsible, and meticulous person who easily sees what needs to be done and takes initiative. You have a good sense of service and represent the business in a professional and trustworthy manner. The role also requires flexibility and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising on quality.

Key requirements for the role:

• Experience in service and customer contact
• Good administrative skills and a structured way of working
• High service awareness and professional interaction
• Ability to take initiative and work independently
• A high school or vocational college degree in the hotel, tourism, or restaurant industry is meritorious
