We are currently looking for a waiter or waitress who wants to join the Strandhuset team.

About the position

As a waiter/waitress at Strandhuset, you are an important part of the overall experience. You are responsible for your own station and work together with the kitchen and bar to create service that is personal, professional, and memorable.

You greet guests with energy and engagement, guide them through the menu and drink selection, and ensure that every visit is an experience they want to repeat.

Your responsibilities

• Serve food and drinks during à la carte service.
• Be responsible for your own station.
• Recommend food and drinks based on guests' preferences.
• Ensure a high level of service throughout the entire restaurant visit.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and bar for a smooth service flow.
• Contribute to a positive work environment and a strong team.

We are looking for you who

• Have experience in serving in an à la carte restaurant.
• Are passionate about service and enjoy meeting people.
• Have an interest in food, wine, and drinks.
• Are self-motivated, responsible, and solution-oriented.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and maintain calm even during intense service shifts.
• Are a team player who wants to develop together with your colleagues.

Knowledge of bark (food pairing) or a great interest in wine and drinks is an advantage, but most importantly, it is your willingness to learn and give guests a fantastic experience.

Working hours

The position follows the restaurant's opening hours and involves work days, evenings, and weekends, Monday to Sunday.
