As a cook at T4 Montessori School, you will contribute, together with the work team, to the preparation of the school's meals. The work team consists of a head cook, two cooks, and two additional staff members working as meal personnel. The work includes preparing, serving, and organizing breakfast, lunch, and snacks, as well as all tasks and routines included in our self-control. You have a sustainable approach and use the operation's resources in a wise and efficient manner. Through different work groups and forums, you also get the opportunity to influence and develop your work.

The job we offer is a permanent position with 100% employment, located at T4 Montessori School. In our area, we cooperate across kitchen boundaries, which means you may substitute in the various preparation and receiving kitchens in the surrounding area. The position has a working time of 40 hours.

Who are you

We are looking for you who have a cook education or other education that the employer deems relevant, or equivalent work experience. You need to have good computer skills, as well as basic knowledge of Microsoft 365, for example Teams. You need to be able to communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and be able to handle physically active work with heavy lifting.

It is meritorious if you have worked in Matilda or other diet data systems, as well as in Unit4 or equivalent e-commerce systems. We also see it as meritorious if you have worked a few years in a large kitchen. For potential transport between kitchens, it is also meritorious if you have a B driver's license and access to your own car.

The Technical Administration is responsible for creating safe, functional, and sustainable environments for the municipality's citizens, employees, and visitors. We work broadly and coordinated within several important service areas including property, street and park, meals, and local care. Here, you work with making everyday life better for our citizens every day.

Within the meals department, approximately 200 employees work with preparing and serving meals. We are located in preschools, primary schools, after-school centers, high schools, and within the care administration. With a focus on service and treatment, we solve the operation's needs with high competence and visible quality.
