At Attendo, we are now looking for several dedicated assistant nurses for Attendo Roden in Norrtälje, which will open in January 2027. It will be a brand new and modern nursing home with 60 apartments, including 40 places for people with dementia and 20 somatic places.

As an assistant nurse with us, you will have a unique opportunity to be involved right from the start and contribute to creating a safe, warm, and high-quality operation. Together with engaged colleagues, you will help establish routines, joy in work, and care where the resident's needs and wishes are always in focus.

The facility is based on Attendo's appreciated concept Sport & Spa, where health, activity, and well-being are a natural part of everyday life. In your role as an assistant nurse, you work person-centred and support the residents in their daily lives by creating security, participation, and meaningful days. You will become an important part of a team that works closely together, where quality, care, and development permeate the work.

About the role

As an assistant nurse with us, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and stimulating environment for our customers. You are responsible for providing good care and support to our customers. Creating a positive and social atmosphere during meals is a large part of your role, as well as being able to contribute with various activities that brighten up the everyday life for our elderly.

Your responsibilities include among other things:

• Personal care according to the facility's routines, based on the customer's individual needs and wishes.
• Assist with preparing, cooking, and serving meals, cleaning, laundry, etc., as needed.
• Perform documentation and work based on decided interventions.
• Collaborate with external and internal contacts such as guardians, relatives, residents, nurses, and rehabilitation staff.

Who are you?

You enjoy providing good service, creating nice relationships, and want to give quality of life to our customers. As a person, you are independent, humble, meticulous, and responsible. You are passionate about elderly care, see the individual's needs, and are engaged with their relatives. You also have good digital skills and feel comfortable working in digital systems, seeing digital working methods as a natural support in daily work.

You will become part of an engaged employee team where everyone strives to do that little extra. Therefore, it is important that you are good at collaborating, have a pedagogical approach, and contribute to a good and pleasant atmosphere in our workplace.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Assistant nurse education of at least 1350 credits.
• Professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate from current/former employer regarding permanent employment as an assistant nurse.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language (spoken and written).
• Good computer skills/computer literacy.

Merits:

• Experience from care work in elderly care.
• Experience with delegation.

Summary

Role: Assistant Nurse

Employment type: Permanent with 6 months probation

Work time: Full-time and part-time.

Working hours: Daytime, evenings, and every other weekend duty.
