Do you want to work in an international environment with strategic procurement and significant business responsibility? We are now looking for a Procurement Specialist for indirect purchases for a global company based in Malmö. Here you will have a central role with responsibility for several European markets and a broad procurement portfolio.

About the role
As a Procurement Specialist, you are responsible for leading and driving procurement processes within indirect materials and services. You work both operationally and strategically to ensure cost-effective solutions, high quality, and contracts in line with the company's guidelines. You are responsible for purchases in the following countries:

  • Sweden
  • Denmark
  • Norway
  • Finland
  • Germany
  • Switzerland
  • Austria

You operate within categories such as:

  • Leasing (vehicles)
  • HR & Employee Benefits
  • Professional services
  • IT
  • Marketing & Sales

The total spend in the role amounts to approximately 48 MEUR per year. You report to a manager based in France and work closely with a colleague in Malmö within the same function.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and execute the entire procurement process (S2C), including sourcing, tendering, negotiation, and contract writing
  • Ensure competitive prices, correct quality, and favorable contract terms
  • Work with spend analysis and identify savings opportunities and efficiencies
  • Develop and implement category strategies in collaboration with global and regional functions
  • Build and develop relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers
  • Ensure that contracts and purchases comply with internal policies and regulations
  • Participate in and drive improvement initiatives and local procurement projects

Your profile
We are looking for you who have a good business understanding and experience in procurement in an international environment.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in procurement, supply chain, economics, or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in an international context
  • Experience in driving tenders and negotiations
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English
  • German is an advantage

Competencies:

  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with data and spend analysis
  • Good communication and relationship-building skills
  • Structured and result-oriented with good prioritization skills
  • Ability to work independently and drive initiatives

Other

  • Location: Malmö
  • Scope: Full-time (40 hours/week)
  • Period: June 15, 2026 - January 31, 2027
