About the Role

The Procurement Manager position is a newly created role where you will have personnel responsibility for three individuals. In this role, you will have a central and strategic function, responsible for developing and establishing Rechon's procurement operations.

Your primary focus will be to ensure a stable supply chain through available materials, quality-assured suppliers, and cost-effective solutions, without compromising quality or delivery security.

The role involves establishing and developing tactical purchasing as well as driving strategic procurement initiatives within supplier management, contracts, tenders, and risk management.

You will work cross-functionally within the organization, responsible for developing supplier relationships, streamlining processes, leading contract negotiations, and ensuring supplier monitoring, KPI development, and continuous improvements within the procurement area.

Furthermore, you will establish processes and routines within Procurement and Master Data, and contribute to the development of working methods and system support in the ERP system (Jeeves). The role offers the opportunity to build and influence an important area within the organization and create long-term improvements in purchasing and supplier collaborations.

The Procurement Manager position is a direct hire with a start date to be agreed upon.

Key Requirements

• Several years of experience in Procurement, category management, and strategic purchasing.
• University or college education in a relevant field, or equivalent competence acquired through professional experience.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment, for example within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or food industry.
• Previous personnel responsibility.
• Experience leading or participating in change and development work.
• Certification in purchasing or procurement.
