We are looking for a highly experienced and independent Construction Engineer/Project Manager with broad competence in earthworks and civil engineering. You will play a central role in the planning, management, and execution of our projects, and will also work operationally on-site when needed.

We are looking for you who have solid experience in earthwork contracting, project management, and construction machinery, and who thrive taking responsibility from design to completion.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and follow up on earthwork and civil engineering projects.
• Be responsible for the project's economy, schedule, and quality.
• Coordinate personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Perform technical calculations and documentation.
• Ensure that work complies with applicable laws, regulations, and occupational health and safety requirements.
• Participate in practical work when needed.
• Operate heavy excavators and wheel loaders when the business requires it.
• Lead earthworks such as excavation, water/sewage, foundation, road, and civil engineering works.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

• An engineering degree in construction, road and water, or equivalent experience.
• Several years of documented experience in earthwork and civil engineering contracting.
• Experience in project management.
• Very good knowledge of earthworks and contracting.
• Experience operating heavy excavators and wheel loaders.
• Good understanding of drawings, design, and technical documents.
• Category B driver's license (BE or C is an advantage).

Merits

• BAS-P/BAS-U certification.
• Experience working on roads.
• Experience with public procurement.
• Experience with larger infrastructure and civil engineering projects.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar programs.
