We are looking for a Project Engineer for a public housing company.

This is a consultancy assignment. The location is Stockholm.

The assignment is full-time with some possibility of hybrid work. The placement is primarily at the offices on Södermalm or in Farsta, and the work is performed mostly on-site.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on independence, teamwork, and a professional approach.

The Assignment

The role involves responsibility for monitoring and development of ground and outdoor environment issues within property management.

The assignment includes, among other things, contract monitoring, quality controls, economic follow-up, collaboration with contractors and internal functions, as well as participation in projects and development work with a focus on sustainable outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on contracts with ground maintenance contractors and lead dialogue with contractors, including operational meetings.
• Conduct quality and status checks as part of the follow-up of ground maintenance contracts.
• Participate in inspections of ground projects within new production, reconstruction, and renovation.
• Follow up on economy, targets, and quality indicators within ground maintenance and operations.
• Collaborate with internal functions, such as the environmental unit as well as project and development activities.
• Participate in projects and improvement work within outdoor environments – from idea to implementation.
• Drive and develop planning work related to ground and outdoor environment issues with a focus on sustainability, biodiversity, as well as customer and business benefit.
• Participate in external forums, for example together with the municipality and tenant organizations, to develop sustainable and inclusive outdoor environments.

Requirements (OBS, mandatory)

• Post-secondary education with a relevant focus or equivalent experience.
• At least five years of experience in ground-related operation and maintenance work.
• Experience in client roles, project management, and contract monitoring (preferably within AFF).
• Experience in green maintenance and preferably focused on rental properties.
• Swedish & English, in speech and writing.

Merits

• Experience in garden planning or physical planting is a merit.
• Experience with relevant support systems such as map and planning systems, such as DP Map or equivalent, is a merit.
