Do you want to work in a pleasant work group where helpfulness and a good attitude towards our customers are always in focus? We are now looking for you who want to work a summer job with us until August. At Skärholmen Home Care, approximately 60 dedicated employees work together with three planners and three unit managers.

We strive to create security, involvement, self-determination, and continuity through a motivated and engaged staff group. Our unit is available around the clock, seven days a week, to provide the best possible support to our customers. We are a diverse group with variation in age, gender, experience, and background.

Your role

As an employee in home care, you have a varied and content-rich job where you work closely with our elderly and disabled residents, providing the support they need to be able to live at home for as long as they wish. You work independently in customers' homes and move around the district on foot, by bicycle, or by car. Your main task is to meet the customer's individual needs for care and service in their own home based on approved assistance according to the Social Services Act.

Tasks:

  • Create a caring and individualized care environment
  • Perform delegated tasks
  • Offer social support
  • Accompany customers to and from doctor's visits
  • Perform service tasks such as meal preparation, dishwashing, laundry, cleaning, and shopping
  • Document care efforts in our journal system

Your skills and experience

We are looking for you who:

  • Have a professional approach characterized by a good attitude and empathy in encounters with others
  • Are sensitive to our customers' needs and add value to our customers' lives
  • Have good Swedish skills in speech and writing
  • Are accustomed to handling smartphones, as this is an important work tool in your daily work

Meritorious:

  • You are trained as a nursing assistant (undersköterska)
  • You have a driver's license and/or can cycle for work

Other information

The position includes a background check, and applicants must provide an extract from the police's criminal record register before employment begins.
