Mariekällgården is Södertälje's largest care and nursing home with 10 residential groups within Nursing, Geriatric Psychiatry, and Dementia, of which 2 groups are Finnish dementia wards. We are now looking for an assistant nurse for our Finnish residential groups.

Your responsibilities

As an assistant nurse with us, you will:

• Provide personal care and support to our residents in their daily lives.
• Participate in the planning and implementation of activities for our residents.
• Use your Finnish language skills to create a safer environment for our Finnish-speaking residents.
• Work in an established team with daily contact with nurses and rehabilitation staff.
• Perform medical tasks according to delegation from the nurse.
• Have the opportunity to engage in a specific area in the form of one of our specific ombudsman roles.

Who are you?

We are looking for an assistant nurse who masters both Finnish and Swedish in speech and writing, preferably with experience and knowledge of dementia care. You value teamwork, thrive in a multicultural work environment, and want to make a real difference for our residents. You should have a genuine interest in taking care of other people and working with elderly care. You are enthusiastic about collaborating and contributing with ideas, big or small, to improve the workplace and care quality.

Requirements:

• Completed assistant nurse education.
• Fluent in Swedish in speech and writing.
• Ability to communicate in and understand the Finnish language.
