Care Assistants and Temporary Staff for Home Care – Weekends (Day/Evening) Wanted
A driver's license is not a requirement but is an advantage.
Hemstyrkan is now looking for care assistants who want to be part of a company that values well-being and quality for both employees and customers.
About Hemstyrkan
Hemstyrkan is one of the first home care providers in Stockholm.
Today, we provide home care in 10 out of 11 districts in Stockholm City, around the clock, and have four operations located in:
- West Stockholm (Råcksta, Bromma)
- South West Stockholm (Axelsberg, Hägersten)
- South East Stockholm (Hammarbyhöjden, Johanneshov)
- Inner City (Hjorthagen, Östermalm)
We have a collective agreement.
Our primary focus is to create a healthy and happy workforce, with good scheduling, present leadership, and high job satisfaction. We believe that when employees are well, it spreads to the customers and creates quality in the elderly care we deliver.
Benefits of working with us
At Hemstyrkan, we offer a workplace where employee well-being and professional development are at the center. We work in small teams with present and accessible managers, and we do not use split shifts. For those seeking a stable work situation, there is an opportunity to work Monday to Friday, both during the day and in the evenings.
We have clear trust in the employee's competence and ability. Personal responsibility and influence are important parts of our operations, and we work with a well-functioning case management system where you, as a care assistant, are the fixed contact person. This means you are responsible for “your” customers on the days you work. Every day and every meeting looks different, which requires flexibility and professionalism, but also offers good opportunities to influence your work and create quality for the customer.
Hemstyrkan is characterized by present and non-hierarchical leadership. Each unit has both a team leader and a manager on site, with good knowledge of customers, relatives, and the needs of the operation. We work together with the staff, are involved in daily life, and provide support when needed to ensure a secure and functioning operation.
As an employee with us, you also receive a wellness allowance, which is part of our long-term focus on a sustainable work environment and healthy, secure employees.
Your Role
We are now looking for care assistants who want to contribute to ensuring our customers can remain in their homes with security, continuity, and dignity. The work should be characterized by care, quality, and a professional attitude.
The role involves performing care and service tasks in the customer's home, as well as being responsible for case management, which means creating continuity and following up on the customer's needs. You may also participate in care planning.
Social documentation is a central part of the work, and we have high demands for accuracy, structure, and compliance with current regulations.
We are also looking for staff for extra work when needed. Hemstyrkan operates 365 days a year.

Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a care assistant and have a professional attitude towards the profession and the meeting with the customer. The following are required for the position:
- Protected professional title as a care assistant issued by the National Board of Health and Welfare
- Manual B-driver's license and driving experience, good cycling experience, and willingness to use a bicycle and walk during work
- Good ability to meet people in different life situations in a professional, respectful, and empathetic manner
- Ability to work independently, take responsibility, and see the whole picture in the assignment
- Stability and stress tolerance, with the ability to handle varying workdays
