We offer good working conditions and close collaboration with knowledgeable and friendly colleagues. At Mälargården, we have a flat organization, which gives us great freedom and influence over our work. We work in functional premises with a well-equipped gym. Above all, you will meet motivated patients who come to Mälargården for 2–3 weeks of intensive rehabilitation. We focus on our patients and avoid unnecessary bureaucracy by minimizing administration to what is strictly necessary to maintain good and safe care. You also do not have prescribing responsibilities, as this is not part of our remit.

At Mälargården, we have helped many people with various diagnoses improve their quality of life. We offer rehabilitation in a beautiful natural setting.

Specialized Planned Rehabilitation:

Mälargården Rehab Center in Sigtuna has successfully offered needs-adapted rehabilitation for different diagnostic groups since the early 1970s. Today, we provide planned specialized rehabilitation for patients who have suffered from neurological disease or injury, as well as for patients who have completed their cancer treatment.

Over the years, Mälargården has built an excellent reputation, which is confirmed daily by satisfied patients, referrers, and purchasers.

We admit patients for inpatient rehabilitation as well as day rehabilitation patients. The operations run Monday–Friday.

Agreements with County Councils:

We have agreements with the Stockholm County Council, as well as with other county councils and various municipalities.

Non-profit Organization:

The Mälargården Rehab Center Foundation is a foundation that is politically and religiously independent. Our operations are idealistic and run without profit motive. Any potential profit is reinvested into the operations.

Qualifications

You work independently and make your own decisions, but have a good ability to collaborate. Experience working within neurological rehabilitation is a significant plus.

Since Mälargården is at the forefront regarding medical technology equipment and training aids, we welcome applicants who are interested in technology and innovative training equipment.

You are unpretentious, engaged, receptive, communicative, and have a good manner of dealing with people. Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing, as well as good computer skills, are desirable. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.

Mälargården has provided planned specialized rehabilitation on behalf of the Stockholm County Council for many years.

Interprofessional teamwork is a key success factor for us. The diagnoses of our patients require a holistic view of the patient and their condition.
