About the workplace

The Disability Support Department is tasked with ensuring that the city's residents covered by interventions according to the LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) have the opportunity to live a dignified life and experience well-being.

In 2025, an organizational restructuring was carried out where all staffing and administration were consolidated under a single unit manager. Short-term staffing has thus been moved from the administration's central staffing unit to the new organizational unit. The unit consists of approximately 20 employees and has a joint mission to support the department's unit managers with administrative tasks as well as short-term staffing.

The office is located at Landskronavägen 1, with good public transport connections.

Responsibilities

As a staffing coordinator, you are responsible for resource-efficient and quality-assured staffing. You work closely with unit managers and other functions to ensure that the right competence is in the right place at the right time.

Your main responsibilities include managing daily and short-term staffing planning. You cover absences, match personnel resources to operational needs, and plan based on vacations and leaves of absence. You also handle absence and return-to-work notifications and resolve urgent staffing needs.

You administer schedule and staffing tasks in Medvind, such as working hours, overtime, competencies, and placements. In this role, you provide support and service to managers and employees, collaborate with colleagues and HR, and contribute to the development of our staffing processes. You also stay updated on working time regulations.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate has a relevant upper secondary education, preferably with a focus on administration or logistics, as well as experience in staffing, administration, or a similar coordinating role. To thrive and succeed in the role, you need to be proficient with computer systems. The computer and telephone are your primary tools at work, which requires you to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.

It is meritorious if you have experience from healthcare and social care or other operations requiring extensive schedule planning, as well as knowledge of working time legislation, labor law, and collective agreements. If you also have experience with the Medvind system, this is a big plus.

Working hours: The operation is staffed seven days a week, which means weekend work is included.
