We are looking for a Technical Writer for an industrial client in Karlskrona. The assignment involves creating clear operator instructions, currently in PowerPoint, for a technical operation.

The work is iterative: you gather material through interviews, photography, and image and text management, build the document in the correct template and systems, and drive it through review and approval together with the relevant competence. You own the flow from raw information to a finished, readable instruction.

You have worked as a Technical Writer in the industry and enjoy transforming complex technical information into something that is actually understandable and followable. You are structured, systematic, and meticulous, and you have a clear personal drive that enables you to take on the work independently from start to finish.

You interact easily with many different stakeholders, both internally and externally, and build good relationships along the way. You have a sense for language style and information flow, and you can analyze and develop both content and structure so that the technical information becomes more readable.

You need to have:

• Experience working as a Technical Writer in the industry

• Knowledge of the Machinery Directive and machine safety

• Good knowledge of Office programs, especially PowerPoint

• Experience with document management and technical information work

• High-level Swedish and good English

Meritorious:

• Experience with tools for technical documentation and image management

• Background from an industrial or energy-related environment

The assignment is performed 100% on-site in Karlskrona, starting after the summer. This is a contract-to-hire arrangement, and the client intends to offer employment after the consulting period is completed.
