ELFA Assistans i Sverige AB provides personal assistance to individuals with disabilities who wish to live an active and fulfilling life. ELFA Assistans is currently seeking dedicated and responsible personal assistants for one of our clients – an 8-year-old girl who requires significant support and assistance. The role involves helping with personal hygiene, training, meals, and dressing/undressing.

We are looking for someone who

• Is sensitive, including to non-verbal communication, and has the ability to create a sense of security and well-being.
• Understands the importance of interaction and can engage with the girl through song, play, and fun.
• Is responsible and has a genuine commitment to helping others.
• Has experience from healthcare and care services, as the role involves certain medical interventions.
• Is in good physical shape, as the work can sometimes be physically demanding and includes floor work, for example during training activities.

Working hours are primarily scheduled between 14:00 – 20:00 on weekdays and 09:00 – 17:00 on weekends. Flexibility regarding working hours in case of colleague sickness or leave is desirable.

We are currently seeking hourly substitutes, with the possibility of a permanent position and fixed schedule if the collaboration proves successful.

References will be requested. Since the client is a minor, anyone considered for the position must provide an extract from the criminal record register.
