RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to help develop the sustainable water and wastewater (VA) systems of the future? We now need to expand our VA operations with a Unit Manager for the network. We are looking for an engaged and development-oriented Unit Manager who, with drive, curiosity, and a solution-focused mindset, wants to take responsibility for our water and wastewater network. Here, you will play a key role in ensuring a secure and sustainable VA supply for today and future generations, together with approximately 8 dedicated employees.

As the Unit Manager for the network, you are responsible for the operation, maintenance, and development of the municipality's water and wastewater network. You are also responsible for subscriber issues, work related to the VA tariff, and the VA perspective in detailed planning plans in line with Höganäs Municipality's development and growth. You lead and develop the operations with a focus on quality, efficiency, and developing your employees to create a good work environment. You have responsibility for personnel, budget, and work environment, and work closely with employees, other managers, external actors, and authorities. You will be part of a management group together with the Head of VA and the Operations Manager.

The role involves driving strategic issues while ensuring the client role for operation and maintenance. You thrive in a role where you combine operational work with strategic responsibility and drive and coordinate development and investment projects. You are communicative, solution-oriented, and accustomed to handling several parallel assignments. You have good administrative skills and experience with digital systems and hold a B driver's license. QUALIFICATIONS

• Relevant university education in fields such as water and wastewater, urban planning, or engineering.
• Experience in water and wastewater operations, preferably within network management.
• Good knowledge of the operation and maintenance of water and wastewater systems.
• Previous experience in leadership and participation in management groups.
• Experience with contracts for infrastructure projects.
• Structured, solution-oriented, and strategic in approach.
• Good communication skills and comfortable collaborating with others.
• Fluent in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
• Security clearance and military placement checks may apply.

Experience in public sector operations is considered an advantage.
